Navigating The Path Through Settlement (PA 4 Hrs; NJ 4 Hrs Core)

The purpose of this course is to provide real estate licensees insight into the settlement process with specific focus on the roles and responsibilities of the lending company and the title company. Licensees will learn how to better explain and support their clients through the loan application and loan decision (underwriting) process, and how to assist with the obtainment of the required title clearances and documents. Licensees will also spend time becoming familiar with the content and requirements for the Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure so they can better assist clients with understanding the impact these two disclosures can have on their real estate transaction.
