Are College Student Tenants Right For You?

Are they a good fit?

NEWTOWN SQUARE PA – College students might make good tenants for residential  properties owned by you, a real estate licensee, or your investment-oriented clients. College student rentals and leases can be profitable, but there are risks too, the RentalCluster.com blog noted last Tuesday (May 20, 2014).

Students generally prefer to have more space to themselves, it said, so renting a single-family home to a group of them might be unappealing to many. Know your property and your market, RentalCluster.com advises.

Possibly more important, it said, make sure students know your rules and regulations for tenants before they move in. That will avoid later headaches for both parties.
