Sell real estate in Florida as a licensed broker!
Non-Florida residents who have held a real estate license in another state for at least two years can bypass Florida’s salesperson licensing process and immediately acquire a Florida real estate broker license. Polley Associates makes it possible to capitalize on this opportunity!
We regret the Florida broker course previously scheduled for June 20-25 (2016) in Newtown Square PA has been canceled.
Complete your education requirement in Pennsylvania and take the required test in Florida, Pennsylvania or New Jersey! A sponsoring broker in Florida is not necessary to take the exam. One does not have to be a resident of Florida to hold a Florida license.
The course is conducted by Dan Taddeo of the Daniel Taddeo Real Estate School. Course content, the instructor, and course materials all are approved by the Florida Real Estate Commission.
How Much Does It Cost?
Tuition of $550 includes all course materials. A deposit of 50 percent or more must be paid at registration to ensure your seat in the course. All balances must be paid 30 days prior to the class starting date. All enrollments are subject to Polley policies.
Florida Broker License Requirements
To take this course, participants must have an active salesperson’s or broker’s license, in any state, for at least two years.
The course is 72 hours of instruction (50-minute hours).
Participants may apply to take the state test and obtain their license BEFORE taking this licensing course. To apply online, visit this page at MyFloridaLicense.com and follow the instructions for “Application for Broker License, Florida Non-Resident.” Applications are accepted at the website, or as an alternative you may print, complete the application by hand, and mail it to Florida. The application fee is $115.
Applicants also must pay a Florida-authorized vendor to submit their fingerprints to the state. This fee varies by vendor. Read the “frequently-asked questions about fingerprints” PDF document, here. Be advised: Florida is VERY particular; please ensure you follow its instructions exactly.
Post-Course Activity
After successfully completing the course, you will receive a certificate of completion from the Daniel Taddeo Real Estate School. You must have this certificate with you during your appointment to take the state test.
You must include a certified copy of your Pennsylvania license history when you apply to take the exam. It normally takes 4-6 weeks to process your application to sit for the Florida exam.

There are 100 questions on the Florida state broker’s exam. The time allotted for the exam is 3½ hours.
A broker candidate’s information bulletin about the test and test-taking is available from Florida as a PDF document.
